Long Time No Blog!!!!

Well it has been a long time since I blogged, my life has been so busy and just moving along so fast that I haven't really thought about blogging. So I thought I would take a minute to write a little note. Things are going great and we are very happy!!

Brooklyn is in Kindergarten and loves it, she loves to write out any word that she can and asks anyone that will tell her how to spell their name.

Braxton is doing well, he's in Pre-School and asks me everyday if he gets to go.

Brinley is very big and is very close to crawling, she eats all the time!!!

Well hello all!! Things have been so much fun lately!! We have now lived in our new house for 1 month now and have seemed to adapt quite nicely, we have grown to love it out here in West Clinton. The backyard is my best friend, at least that is what I tell Adam. The kids love to go out there and jump and play in the pool all day!! I started back to work last month and I rather enjoy it. It's been good to get away!! We have been so busy too, with Brinley's blessing, Father's Day, my cousin's baby Leah's blessing, the Fourth of July, & Lagoon trips we've been going and going it seems!!! Laundry seems to pile up so fast also, but I've been doing ok with it. We've been having a great summer but I'm so excited and nervous for Brooklyn to start Kindergarten this fall and Braxton to start Pre-School. I can't believe how big they've gotten it boggles my mind that Brooklyn is old enough!! Well that's all the time I have for now, I'll do my best to blog more often!!!

Update, Update, Update

Well it has been quite awhile since I've blogged!!! We have been so busy with everything!!! So here's a little short update!! Brinley is doing awesome she is almost 10 weeks old now and is growing like a weed. She is 9lbs now and is changing everyday!! She has started to go alot longer through the night which I am so excited about!! She still has some problems eating, she seems to choke or gag when you feed her sometimes so that is stressful but I seem to have got it down that when I feed her she seems to do pretty good!!

Brooklyn is doing very well, she just had her first dance recital last week and did so good!! She was the only one in her class to know the whole dance. I registered her for kindergarten which I can't believe she is old enough to go!! She is to smart for her britches most of the time so I guess she is ready to go!!

Braxton is doing quite well also, he has seemed to change in the last couple of months. He use to be so wild and out of control and so daring, now he is so hesitant and such a momma's boy and holds back on a lot of things that he use to not too!! He's such a little sweetheart!!! He got his tonsills taken out this last tuesday and seems to have a rough time, when he came out of the surgery he seemed to be doing so good I was amazed I knew it was to good to be true!! And it was he is still very sore and can't hardly talk and won't eat very much either. I know he'll make a full recovery it will just take him a little while!!

Adam and I are doing good!! He just started graveyards at the airport, deep cleaning airplanes for Skywest. He seems to like it!! I'm just glad he stills has a job and we have a steady income coming in and health benefits and flight benifits are pretty great too!! I've been on maternity leave since March and I am dreading going back to work June 1st. I would love to just stay home and be a stay at home mom, but with this economy and everything Adam and I just can't seem to swing it on one income right now, well have to see what the future holds for us!! I do love my job and the doctor I work for so at least I'm going back to a place that I like!!

We are also moving at the end of this month from Riverdale to Clinton, my parents just bought a house and have asked us to move in with them to help with the mortgage. We are very excited about it, we will have a huge fenced in backyard for the kids to run and run!! We hope to catch up on alot of our finances and hope to maybe save a little too!!

I believe that is a good run down of our lives right now, I hope to do better on blogging but well see, my actions will have to speak louder than my words!!!

Well to let you all know if you already didn't. Brinley has arrived safe and sound a little early of course. She was actually born at 34 weeks and 3 days, so she was about 6 weeks early. But we are glad she is here and she is so cute!!!!

So this is what happened, on Firday night at midnight my water broke and Adam and I raced to Davis Hospital. My doctor showed up about 2hours later and did an ultrasound and said she was breech and that we were going to have to get her out and a c-section was our only answer to get her here safe. So Adam and had a little emotional moment together and I went in for the c-section. The C-Section went ok except for the fact I couldn't stop throwing up the whole time. Adam was there to support me and he did a good job. He also made the comment that he got to see a whole new side of me from Intestines, Liver, Kidneys, and Bladder. She came out and she was so cute she weighed 5 lbs 12.4 oz and was 19.5 inches long. She was rushed to the NICU and she will be there for awhile. We really don't know how long she will be there, we have to take it day by day. I was released on Tuesday morning, and I seem to be doing ok with the circumstances. We get to see her only at certain times of the day. So Adam and I are trying to balance going to the hospital, kids, and getting our lifes back together. I'll keep you all updated on her progress and if she has any changes or gets to come home I'll let you all know.

My dad gave Brinley a wonderful blessing and so we all got to go back. Jeff and Mike also helped with the blessing, Adam and I are so grateful for the wonderful blessing.

San Francisco

So Adam has flight benefits working at Skywest, so we decided we would go on a one day adventure to San Francisco. We had so much fun, our flight left at 8:30am and we got in San Fran an hour and a half later. We rode the underground subway to the Piers. That was a new adventure for me, the subway can be a little scary but we made it with no problems. We took a trolley to Pier 39 where all the shops and places to eat are. We ate Clam Chowder in a bread bowl, that Adam still talks about and says was the best ever and he wants to go back and have more. We walked to the pier and saw Alcatraz and we saw the famous seals at Pier 39, that are very noisy. We pretty much just hung out together and enjoyed each others company. Which was great and very romantic in a way to be somwhere with my husband. We also went to an aquarium and it was very interesting and fun. Adam even touched some fish, but I steer clear of that department. We got a flight back around 6:00 and we landed back in SLC around 8:30 which put us away exactly 12 hours. It was a fun and short trip I know we will always talk about it. We got home and were both very tired and crashed when we got home. Adam is already talking about where we will go next, but I have to remind him that it's going to have to wait until the baby is born and so I don't think we will have any crazy trips for awhile but I know that we will go on more for sure.

Well I'm so excited to let you all know that we got a computer and printer with scanner. So hopefully I will blog a little more if I have the time. So with our new scanner I thought I would post some ultrasound pictures of our little Brinley. We are so excited for her to come and join our family. We are obviously not completely prepared yet for her to come but it's happening slowly. I'm also glad to announce that her daddy finnally felt her this morning. He has been so frustrated about it cuz everytime before she would stop kicking like she knew what we were doing. But today she stopped being so stubborn and let her daddy finnally see what I feel all day long. I was so excited since this is Adam's first baby and he is so excited and nervous all at the same time. He's all about 20 questions and is so amazed by the whole pregnancy process, I would have to admit at the beginning I was a little frustrated with him since this is my third and I know the whole process. But now I have gotten better about it and I think it's kind of cute now to teach and see him learn the whole process. He's going to be an awesome dad and I can't wait to share the whole process with him.

These are feet I promise, I know it's kind of hard to tell but it really is, Adam even made sure that we counted the toes to make sure they were all there with no extras. He's such a HOOT sometimes.

These are her girl parts, I know it's kind of hard to tell but if you look hard enough and long enough you can see that her underthighs are there with the girl parts in the middle, there is no boy my doctor said that he's 99 percent positive. He will never say 100% to just cover his butt!!!

Christmas 2008

Well Christmas went off with a hitch with not to many problems. I sure feel like christmas came and went very fast this year. Adam even made the comment that he really wasn't in the christmas spirit this year and I thought you know me neither. With our wedding in December I think it just made getting in the christmas spirit a little tough this year. The kids had a blast though and loved everything they got this year. Christmas morning was alot of fun, the kids left some cookies that they helped me make and frost with some milk for santa. Well Adam and I thought we would leave a half of a cookie to mabye empathize that santa ate their cookies well the whole day they had to tell everyone that santa didn't eat his last cookie. So I believe from now on we will eat all the cookies so we don't have to be asked a million times as to why he didn't eat all his cookies.
The day after christmas the kids and I flew to St. George to see Megan and my parents. The kids got to fly on their first plane and they had a blast and keep asking Adam and I when they get to go again and where were going to go. On New Years day we got together with all of my family at my house and had christmas since our parents were in St. George. It was alot of fun and the kids love to play with there cousins.
I think back at when I got to play with all of my cousins and you know it was a blast and my sister Mandy and I try to get the kids together as much as we can cuz they play so well together and theres a bond there and memories that our kids will keep with them forever like we do. So all in all it was good holiday here at the Kersey house and we hope to have many more. We hope everyone else had great holidays, and good luck to you all in 2009!!!!!

Wedding

Well I know it's been a month since I have blogged anything. Things have been crazy here at the Kersey house. Well it is official now we are now the Kerseys and it is great I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. The wedding went very well and was very nice it happened last friday with a ton of help from my Awesome mom and sister that I love so much!! We got to go to Park City for the weekend which was nice to get away and be by ourselves. But we are now back to reality and just glad to be married, it is so cute cuz Brooklyn keeps telling us that were married and that were husband and wife now. It makes me feels so good, but the funny thing is that Brooklyn tells people she is excited but that she doesn't like the kissing which is so funny. I don't think that Adam and kiss to much.
Were just excited now for Christmas and after that we will plan on getting our little baby girl here safe and sound and healthy. I can't wait to see her and I believe her Daddy is a little excited too.
I was so glad to see my sister and her new baby also, I feel like I'm missing out on a lot of her and her new little families lives and so it is a huge treat to see them. Danica has gotten pretty chubby since I seen her last but she is still a cutie and I love her so much.Danica and Braxton sleeping with me!!

Well I thought that everyone would love to see how Brooklyn & Braxton's Costumes turned out for Halloween. They looked so good and had so much fun. Well when I got off work I got them from day care and headed to Adam's mom's house to get them ready for the big night. Adam met us there and we headed to Adam's grandma's house in Harrisville and after that we went to Brigham and met up with the kid's cousins and went trick or treating with them around a couple blocks. Then we went to my parents house and showed the kids off to them and then Adam and I got ready for our Halloween party we had that night and when we were ready we dropped the kids off to my ex-husbands house for the weekend and they went trick or treating with his family also.

She's Arrived Finally!!! It was a very long day yesterday of waiting and wondering if this baby would ever come out. My parents and I drove to St. George last thursday in hoping that Megan's baby would come well it got to tuesday and nothing and we had decided to head home if her appt tuesday morning led us to no hope, but thank goodness she was at a 4 and her doc said get to that hospital were having a baby. So we all got there and waited. Megan progressed very slowly but at least she was, everytime they came in they would say she had dialated one more centimeter. Well later in the day they told us that Megan had an arched pelvis and to deliver vaginally would be difficult but that they would do their best to try to get her to. So after she was all dialted and effaced we had to wait for a couple hours for the baby to squezze down the birth canal with each contraction. In the end Danica did it and arrived with some vacuuming help from the doctor @9:45 pm it had been a long day but we were so excited to have her here and so were her proud parents Megan and Shane. I'm so grateful for my sister she was so strong yesterday and did an awesome and flawless job delivering her first child and I 'm so grateful that she let me into the delivery room and it's an experience I will never forget. It was amazing!!!! I love her so much and always will!!! The baby is doing awesome and lets just say you definitely know who the daddy is she looks just like Shane. She's very cute and has a lot of dark hair that Megan is praying that it stays. She was 6 lbs 15 oz and was 19.5 inches long and the doc said if she had been any bigger she probably wouldn't of made it vaginally. I can't wait to go and hold Danica today but I thought I would let you all know that she is here and safe and that her parents are very proud and tired.

Gardiner Village & Baby & Wedding

Well last weekend us and my parents decided to go to gardiner village in West Jordan to see all their fall decorations. It was so much fun, they have the cutest little witches everywhere set up. The kids seem to be ok with them for the most part, Braxton was very aprehensive about them, but lately he has been very aprehensive about everything. The little shops there were also so cute. I would say to anyone if you haven't gone their you need too. My mom also says that at christmas time they set up elves everywhere. So I believe we well head there in December to see what it's like.

On another note if you didn't already know I'm going to have a baby, I'm about 12 weeks now and am doing pretty good. My due date is April 21st 2009, and were so excited to have a spring baby. The doctor that I work for has asked me to the quinea pig for our office cuz were getting a 4D machine at work and he wants to use me and my baby to show all the other doctors how to use the new machine, I'll be about 16 weeks then and hopefully we can find out what were having.

Last but not least Adam and I have set a date to get married we are getting hitched on December 5th at our LDS Church in Riverdale we are so excited to finally consumate our love for each other. We both know that it is time and that we need to take that next step. We are planning a very small wedding nothing big just something to celebrate our love for each other. Were way excited so if you want to come or an invite please send me your address or I'll just ask you for it later. Thats about it for us right now. I'm just waiting the phone call from my sister saying get down here Danica is coming. I hope it's within the week cuz my sister is getting so miserable and Danica is so squished in there she needs to come out. I'll keep you all posted on when the big day of Danica's arrival is here.

Well I know that it has been about a month since I wrote a blog and it has been about 18 days since Brooklyn's B-Day but I had to write a blog about it. I can't believe that she turned 4 this year it just boggles my mind that she is growing up so fast. I remember when she was a little baby and I couldn't wait for her to walk and talk and now she does all that and more with a little attitude also. She says so many crazy things sometimes and asks the most funny questions. Right now her mind is trying to figure out the whole baby in the tummy thing. My sister is due in 4 weeks and Brooklyn can't seem to figure out why Baby Danica can't come out now. She is so funny and she likes to ask if Dr Lish is going to pull Danica out like he pulled her out, and I have to explain to her that Megan has a different doctor and she doesn't get it, but she will someday. Well for Brooklyn's B-Day party we had a little party outside with a pool, tramp, and food with all our family and friends at my grandma's house in Brigham City and I belive she had a blast as always. They played very hard and she got many presents. On Brooklyn's official Birthday on Aug. 30th we got her ears pierced at almost the exact time she was born and that was fun and she is doing well with them now we had some episodes with them falling out but they seem to be doing much better and staying in Thank Goodness. I don't know how many more times I would get her to let me try to push those earring through her ears. But I wasn't going to pay almost 30 dollars to get them done and then not have them stay in. I thought that it was ridiculous how much we had to pay for them if you ask me. We also signed her up for dance for her b-day and she seems to love it. She goes for an hour to a dance studio in Roy and she acts all grown up.

I haven't had time to write since we dont have a computer so I finally got to one so here I am. Things are good for us, weve been summering ourselves out with Lagoon, Raptors baseball games, Drive In movies and family get togethers. This past week the kids got to go to Lagoon each by themselves with Adam's sister Megan which they thought was pretty cool to be the only kid and have there own special time at Lagoon. I liked cuz they came home so tuckered out that they were out like a light when I got them back, but I think it's good to have that alone time without the other sibling to feel important . Our life is going great we've working alot and not having much time to ourselves. Adam starts his new job at Lowe's tomorrow and were way excited to have a steady job and a quaranteed check every 2 weeks. His going to still work 2 days a week at Olive Garden he loves the atmosphere there and the people he works with are a lot of fun too. He's also going to work at Tanner Clinic when he can if they need him, he's such a worker which I love since I know that he's taking care of our family in any way that he can, but on the downfall I never get to see him which is a small sacrifice I have to make if we want the things in life we want to shoot for. Well were doing great and we hope that everybody is also and we hope to get some more blogs up soon. Love ya all!!!!

I guess that I'll start my posts from our life as it is now. So yesterday we had not much to do and when that happens we can't just sit at home cuz Adam would go crazy he has to just go, go, and go. So we started our day by going to Lagoon with the kids for a couple hours. We have season passports thanks to my sweetie Adam who has the hook ups and worked for 11 days at Lagoon to get our passports. We were there for about 4 hours the kids rode rides we saw a show and then we headed back to our home so that the kids could spend the night with my ex-husband. Then we hit the Drive In to see Step Brothers & Hancock in the back of Adam's dads truck and the blow up air matress, a cooler of pop and snacks, pillows, blankets, and Adam's little brother Jordan joined us also.
